Mehrdad Gholami was born in Kurdistan, Iran in 1984. He received the B.Sc. degree from Tabriz University and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Amirkabir University of Technology all in electrical engineering in 2006, 2009 and 2017, respectively. He is currently an assistant professor at the University of Kurdistan, Sanandaj, Iran. His areas of research interests include power electronic converters design, modeling, and control, renewable energy resources, energy storage systems, electric machine drives, electromagnetic systems and actuators, electrical machine modeling.
