Rahmatollah Mirzaei received the B.E. degree in electronic engineering from Tabriz University, Tabriz, Iran, in 1987, the M.Sc. degree in control engineering from Tehran University, Tehran, Iran, in 1991, and the Ph.D. degree in power electronics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 2007. He is currently an Assistant Professor and a member of the Smart/Micro Grids Research Center with the University of Kurdistan, Sanandaj, Iran, where he was a Lecturer since 1993. His research interests include design, analysis, control, and modeling of power converters for PFC circuits, soft switching, and active filter systems
