When we talk about the Support Team, we’re always talking about a certain kind of support, as we will explain below.
Support in the meaning means to bear or to endure but we want to improve the meaning and not just focus on the big picture. SMGRC Support Team provides the necessary back-up to enable others to get the job done efficiently and effectively. This might be technical support such as IT, finance or Human Resources or general office management and administrative support.
An organization’s support operations team helps the department work in more productive, efficient, effective, and economical ways. The Support Team aims to provide the environment, tools, technologies, processes, and policies to help the team management, members and researchers to do their best work without distraction and frustration.
Our goal is to support the SMGRC research complex as an active research center. Our research center has extensive national and international research activities, including holding conferences, doing national and international projects. On the other hand, it is academically active and communicates with many researchers from inside and outside of the country. Part of the responsibilities of this research complex is planned and utilized by the Support Team. Team Support acts as the voice of SMGRC in various social media, and while publishing various news, announcements, and events, it takes full responsibility for holding them. The goal of this team, while accepting the responsibility of holding all research and scientific events and activities, is to create a professional space for the social media and academic networks of the group to be integrated. We’re going to support SMGRC as long as it is one of the biggest research centers with extensive international and national research partners on micro/smart grids, and finally will prepare and present the SMGRC bookmark brand.
The activities of the SMGRC Support Team besides the mentioned responsibilities will include creating coordination and a coherent and interconnected academic space within the team. Including creating and updating data center monthly, accompanying the group’s weekly meetings and holding specialized courses for members of the research team. One of the most important beliefs in SMGRC Support Team is to perform responsibilities with the highest possible accuracy and with the least waste of time and energy. That’s why the Support Team Collection including its five members has prepared the right framework and structure for most of the tasks it has undertaken so that it can be used as instruction at different times. SMGRC Support Team is trying to see the whole research set and its goals from a comprehensive view and to recognize the connections in the team and create a one-handed texture for them Since it takes a long time to achieve such long term goal we tried to select the members of this team from people who are committed to fully fulfilling their responsibilities even if they graduate or even stay away from the research center Proper communication between members and efforts to maintain it also leads to the right path.
