With the announcement by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the shutdown of all schools and universities in Iran till the end of new year eve (3rd April), to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19.), SMGRC will be close to all students (Ph.D., MS) and all researchers in person but the work will not shut down and everybody will continue their research in the form of telework.
From the 20th of February, the postgraduate courses taught as online courses and every student was provided with everything they need including free internet and software to proceed to these classes online.
All the researches will continue in the form of telework and the researchers will be in touch with supervisors teleworking and by email, also the student that have their final thesis will report their work Periodically to their supervisors, therefore, every work will continue until we would be informed by the ministry of science to proceed everything as normal.
The SMGRC is dedicated to meeting the needs of our community in what is an extraordinary moment in our history as we face this rapidly evolving public health crisis. We continue to closely monitor the evolving situation and evaluate the outbreak’s impact on SMGRC. The health and safety of all members of our community and research center are of the utmost importance.
