SMGRC will deliver the weekly session through remote and online instruction in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Because of COVID-19, most professors and students suddenly find themselves forced to use technology as they teach and learn. For SMGRC members the weekly sessions will be delivered online according to the schedule to the greatest extent possible. This decision aligns with our goal to reduce the number of interactions on campus, slow the rate of transmission, and protect our community. We understand there are pedagogical, logistical, and technological challenges to these extraordinary measures but we are happy that by using the Microsoft Teams which is a kind and flawless platform to do teamwork remotely, Initially, we are having our weekly sessions to provide the students and researchers with teaching and researching projects including teaching software like Latex and also preparing the students that have their final thesis. The health and wellbeing of our faculty are of utmost priority. We recognize the abrupt transition to remote instruction has been difficult and that universal social distancing measures have drastically altered our social lives but we will have hope and will continue learning and researching. SMGRC will wish healthiness and safety upon every humankind in the world.
